Getting to the practice
The practice is on the first floor of D Block (flat 36) in the Nef 22 Ataköy complex, on Çobançeşme E-5 Yanyol Caddesi in Bakırköy. For a taxi, show the driver this address: Nef 22 Ataköy, D Blok, Çobançeşme E-5 Yanyol Cad. No:22, Bakırköy, İstanbul.
- By metro: Ataköy is on Istanbul's metro network. Use the map link on this page to plan your route from the nearest station.
- By car: paid parking is available nearby.
- From the airports: Bakırköy is on the European side of Istanbul, the same side as Istanbul Airport (IST); Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is on the Asian side. Travel times vary widely with traffic, so allow plenty of time.
- Mobility needs: if you use a wheelchair or find stairs difficult, let us know before your visit.
What to bring to your appointment
- Your passport or ID.
- A list of your medicines and supplements, with doses, and any allergies.
- Details of past operations and of any medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes or a clotting problem.
- Recent test results or letters from your own doctor, if you have them. For breast procedures, bring recent breast imaging reports; Dr. İlker asks for a mammogram from the age of 40.
- If you have had surgery in the same area before, any operation notes, and for breast implants your implant card.
- Your questions, written down. Each procedure page has a list of questions worth printing.
- For a face consultation, come without heavy make-up if you can, so that your skin can be seen clearly.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, please arrange your visit in advance by WhatsApp, through the form on this page or by phone. Booking ahead lets the practice set aside enough time for your consultation and examination. If you are travelling from abroad for treatment, your appointments are arranged as part of your plan, together with your arrival date.
Where can I park?
Paid parking is available near the practice. If you are coming by car, allow a few extra minutes to park and to find D Block in the Nef 22 Ataköy complex. If you are recovering from a procedure, do not drive until your surgeon says you can; ask someone to bring you or take a taxi.
What is the time difference with Istanbul?
Istanbul is on GMT+3 all year round, with no clock changes for summer time. That puts it three hours ahead of the UK in winter and two hours ahead in summer. Our opening hours, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, are in Istanbul time, so check the difference before you call.
Who do I contact outside opening hours?
For a medical emergency, call your local emergency number; in Türkiye, call 112. For anything else, send a WhatsApp message or use the form, and the team will reply during opening hours. If you are recovering from a procedure, use the contact route agreed in your plan.
